Zesty Chicken Piccata Recipe

A mouthwatering recipe for chicken piccata that will have dinner guests coming back asking for more! We hope you enjoy this recipe.

  • 2 Chicken Breast cut in half or chicken cutlets 4 total pieces
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • ΒΌ cup Capers rinsed
  • Β½ cup Flour
  • Β½ stick of Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Chicken stock bullion Can also use beef stock if you prefer
  • Fresh Parsley


  • Put salt and pepper on chicken and dredge them in flour
  • On stovetop skillet heat 2 Tbsp of butter and 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
  • When hot, place chicken in skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Then remove from skillet
  • Wipe out excess oil from skillet
  • Put chicken stock, lemon juice and capers into skillet
  • When mixture begins to bubble add chicken back into skillet
  • Cook for 3 minutes
  • Remove chicken and place on clean serving plate
  • Add 2 more Tbsp of butter to the sauce until melted
  • Pour sauce over chicken, add parsley and serve
